The Role

Are you an exceptional Team Leader with a proven track record in delivering exceptional results in fundraising?

Are you looking to take the next stage in your career? If so, we'd love to have you as a Senior Team Leader for the Oxfam In-House programme in Scotland.

Oxfam have just relaunched their Face to Face fundraising campaign in the UK and we have huge plans for growth!

We are recruiting for a Senior team leader to help build and lead a well-trained and motivated team of fundraisers and to engage with people in the high street and private sites who inspire people to help join the movement and help fund Oxfam’s work through regular donations.

This is only the start however, as we are new and have big plans for growth you can start our management training and begin your career at Oxfam. We also have fundraising teams in other countries around the world, many of our managers have gone on to work internationally!

After three months you can work four days and get paid for five. We are open to do this from the outset for experienced managers.

The role:

  • You will be predominantly field based delivering on personal and team scores as a fundraiser and team leader.
  • Be an example of effective and ethical fundraising.
  • Act as the operational bridge between the management team and the rest of the section.
  • Deliver high level coaching and development plans to fundraisers and other team leaders.
  • Organise and deliver training workshops to fundraisers and team leaders.
  • Assist the management team with strategic decisions enabling the team to grow effectively.

The Candidate

About you:

  • Have either face-to-face team leading experience within fundraising or team leading experience in sales.
  • Passionate about social justice and love talking and listening to people.
  • Be outgoing, energetic and have a confident demeanour and have good team building/ coaching skills.
  • Hold a passion for activism and Oxfam.
  • Have the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Be able to work independently and used to working towards targets.
